We talk about Lisa’s background in agility and as an agility judge, including how she got started and why she began to judge.
We bust through so many myths surrounding agility. It became apparent to me during the interview just how many myths I personally hold regarding agility and who it is right for! It really opened my eyes to a whole new world.
We talk about who agility is for because it can really be for anyone and everyone who has an interest in it.
In addition, we discuss the ages of dogs and breeds and how to accommodate for dogs with different needs.
We also discuss the many benefits of agility, both for the dog and the dog parent. It became apparent that agility is much less about competition and much more about having fun and making friends.
Lisa shares a few inspiring stories from her time in agility as a casual competitor to a judge.
